NEWS BULLETIN SCHEDULE

Chiltern Voice broadcasts national and international news from Radio News Hub, on the hour, for the majority of hours in a day. The station provides local information several times a day and over the weekend.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE & STATION FORMAT

Chiltern Voice provides programmes broadcast from its studio premises in Chesham. Programmes consist of music, travel, competitions, information, entertainment and presenter talk.

Programmes are a mix of automated and live programmes during the day, with some pre-recorded automated output. Late evening and some weekend output utilises syndicated programming. Overnight, programmes are automated.

MUSIC POLICY

Chiltern Voice plays music from the 1960’s  to today with a focus on the 1980’s through 2000’s with a Pop, Adult Contemporary, MoR focus.
Specialist shows focusing on the decade operate weekdays from 7pm to 9pm and also a specific time over the weekend.

EVENTS/CHARITIES SUPPORT OR COVERAGE

Chiltern Voice supports charities and local not-for-profit organisations in a number of ways:

It operates a “charity of the Month” scheme giving a month’s free advertising to local organisations. See: chilternvoice.fm/charity-of-the-month

For local small businesses, it offers the opportunity to feature on the “Chiltern Voice Business Show”.

For local organisations with events requiring PA systems, we offer the provisions of a PA system, Gazebo and MC services at close to one-third of market rate. [The seed money provided by Buckinghamshire Council’s Community Funds] 

COMPLAINTS

Chiltern Voice takes its obligations as a broadcaster seriously. We attempt to ensure that our output is fair, impartial and appropriate, and does not cause harm or undue offence.

Ofcom has broadcast codes which apply to radio that we follow, with our presenters being trained in those codes.
