Are you interested in getting involved in Chiltern Voice?
Perhaps you have an interest in music, theatre or performance?
Maybe you fancy yourself as the next Terry Wogan or Pete Tong?
Or you may just want to be part of a friendly fun group of people and are looking for a new hobby?
Chiltern Voice is looking for volunteers to take part in this new full-time, Ofcom licences, radio station for the Chilterns, broadcasting on 107.4FM, on-line, via the Web or on your smart-speaker.
We aim to become the local hub of local news and information for Amersham, Chesham & The Chalfonts. The radio station broadcasts daily from The White Hill Centre in Chesham, and is primarily a popular music station providing local news, sport, what’s on and information. We support charities & community groups and if you are a member of one or more, then Chiltern Voice welcomes you to promote these other groups & charities from within our local area.
Most of our Programmes follow our in-house play-list which includes a variety of music from the 1960’s right up to today. A few of our programmes are ‘Specialist Music’ and these are in the evenings and some weekend slots. We are particularly seeking local presenters interested in creating local content, presenting local interviews, and covering local events through Outside Broadcasts. Whilst there are opportunities for ‘Specialist Music Presenters’ these are extremely limited.
We are also seeking Volunteers in the following areas:
- Fund raising
- Engineering / IT / Technical
- Marketing & Events
- Sales & Sponsorship
We are always keen to meet new people and welcome them to the group, whether they want to host, help making programmes or just be a part of the team that makes the whole project come together.
If you are interested in joining us at Chiltern Voice please complete the Membership application form here – Membership application form
There is a varying annual membership fee payable which starts from as little as £12. Once the form (below) is completed we will contact you and welcome you to an open evening for prospective volunteers where you can see the studios, meet some of the team and discuss how you might like to contribute to Chiltern Voice.
If you have any questions about memberships, please email email@example.com and we’ll aim to try and respond to all enquiries within five working days.
