Open Days at the Rescue Centre 12 - 4pm
On Saturday 29th June, come and find out how the Chiltern Dog Rescue Centre works with behind the scenes tours. Explore our woodland walk and meet some of the dogs that have been helped by the Society. There are refreshments available and entry is free. Prestwood Family Fun Day
The Prestwood Family Fun Day will be on 27th July at Prestwood Village Hall starting at 11am until late. Food stalls are a Pizza van and Burger van. The live music are bands mostly from the area. "Overtime Rock ", a young band called "Beyond Paradise", " Mappleby", Bitterroot and singer called "Leach". Mike Fulham will be playing his vinyls. There will be Craft Stalls in the hall, a raffle with various prizes, fair rides, childrens' tombola and ice creams. There maybe dance from a local dance school and Little Strummers will be playing. Coffees and cakes plus other delicious drinks from Pantry 41 will be in the back hall, plus beer and wine stalls outside.
The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund - 25 Year Anniversary Ball
There's a black tie ball on 22nd June at Hazlemere Golf Club supporting The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund in their 25th year of helping families affected by childhood cancer. There will be a live local band "Full Flavour," 3 course dinner, raffle and auction, all overlooking the golf course in an area of natural outstanding beauty on the edge of the Chilterns. Tickets £75 to include a drinks reception at 7pm with a welcome glass of prosecco. The event will conclude at midnight. All money raised will support children with life threatening conditions to have respite breaks. Midnight Dream Walk
The annual Midnight Dream Walk in aid of The Thomas Ball Children's Cancer Fund on Friday 28th June from Great Missenden Memorial Centre to Prestwood and back, 6 miles. £15 registration fee. Refreshments included, bottled water throughout the walk and bacon rolls, croissants, teas etc. afterwards. Entry forms can be picked up from "Sweet Charity" shop in Prestwood or by downloading from the charity's website www.thomasball.org.uk. An Intimate Evening with Anita Harris
An intimate evening with star of stage and screen and National Treasure, Anita Harris. A unique evening, in aid of the Chiltern Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, set in the beautiful woodland at GreenAcres Chiltern. Anita, a multimillion single selling singer, star of Talk of The Town, Carry On films, 7 Royal Command Performances, working with legends Morecambe & Wise, Tommy Cooper & Sir Cliff Richard, will delight us through song and stories of a career celebrating 65 years in showbiz. The Theatre Shed - Charity Gala

My Town Choir
My Town Choir is a non-auditioning Community Choir. The choir meets on Friday evenings during term time at St Marys Church Hall from 7pm to 9pm. New members are welcome to come along and join in. Talkback Youth Club
Join the Talkback Youth Club on the last Friday of every month at Amersham Youth Centre on Chichester Row, Amershm HP6 5AR. Activities include Workshops, Sports, Creative Arts, Crafts, Cooking, Games, Gardening, Trips and visits, Pool and much more. The club is aimed at autistic young people from ages 16-24 and takes place from 6pm to 8pm at the Amersham Youth Centre on the last Friday of each month.
To Be Active - 60+ Fitness and Social Club
Do you want to maximise your mobility and better your balance? If so, men and women of all abilities age 60+ are welcome to join our friendly social group each week to improve fitness. We have three wonderful instructors in Richard, Rita and Stella at the Chalfont St Giles 60+ Fitness and Social Club. The Ukrainian Community Hub is open every Friday morning from 10am until 12:30pm. This takes place in St Mary's Church Rooms in Chesham HP5 1HY. Lunch Club at Little Chalfont
Little Chalfont has recently launched a new Lunch Club on the 4th Sunday of every month. This takes place from 12:30pm at The Kokum at 68 Elizabeth Avenue, Little Chafont, HP6 6QJ.
