Chesham Fringe Festival
The Chesham Fringe Festival runs from Saturday 25th until Monday 27th May 2024. There are going to be over 100 acts performing in over 10 venues around the town. This includes Chesham Cricket and Football clubs, The Drawing Room, The Little Theatre by the Park, Chesham Youth Centre and Chesham Town Hall. Featured acts include Ninia Benjamin, The Chris Slade Timeline who are an AC/DC tribute act, Fore Fighters and Olaf Falafel. DHUN - A musical night to remember
At the Elgiva Theatre Chesham on 27th of April, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm, come and see a magnificent display of musical prowess, featuring classical Indian music performances by talented artists from our community and beyond. DHUN being organized by AMERINDIS is a musical evening that aims to showcase the vibrant and diverse musical talent who have ties to various regions of India yet have lived locally for a long time. This event promises to be a magnificent display of musical prowess, featuring classical Indian music performances by talented artists from our community and beyond. Classical Indian dance will kick off the performance, which will be followed by a duet of traditional Indian musical instruments. A full orchestra performing Bollywood songs will cap off the occasion. Being a sold-out event last year, this event is one of the most popular event locally and we aim to make it even better. The following will be part of the event: 1.Kathak is a major classical dance form of Northern India. 2. Jugalbandi is a performance in Indian classical music that features a duet, between two solo musicians. 3. Bolliwood Live Music: The performing vocalists are Rajan Shegunshi, Ashvini Kane, Mandar Sane, Manas Mallick and Pearl Chowksi. The Arts Society Amersham
The Amersham Festival of Music takes place this year from 5th to the 28th of April 2024. This is the 40th anniversary year and opens with the Amersham Festival Chamber Orchestra in a performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London on Friday 5th April. All other performances of the festival will take place at local venues including Amersham Free Church, The Kings Church on Raans Road and St Marys Church in Old Amersham. Chalfont St Giles & Jordans Literary Festival
The Chalfont St Giles and Jordans Literary Festival takes place this year from the 7th to the 17th May 2024. The festival hopes to welcome a number of well known and local authors incliding Helen Fry, Chris Myrie, Anne Seba, Doctor Matthew Green and Jane Robinson to mention just a few. Dementia Respite Care Sponsored Walk
The sponsored walk takes place next Sunday April 28th from 11am to 2pm, starting from the clock tower in Chesham. All monies raised will be donated to Dementia Respite Care. If you'd like to take part, please go to dementia-respite.org.uk/ and scan the barcode to register.
My Town Choir
My Town Choir is a non-auditioning Community Choir. The choir meets on Friday evenings during term time at St Marys Church Hall from 7pm to 9pm. New members are welcome to come along and join in. Silver Singers at The Elgiva

Talkback Youth Club
Join the Talkback Youth Club on the last Friday of every month at Amersham Youth Centre on Chichester Row, Amershm HP6 5AR. Activities include Workshops, Sports, Creative Arts, Crafts, Cooking, Games, Gardening, Trips and visits, Pool and much more. The club is aimed at autistic young people from ages 16-24 and takes place from 6pm to 8pm at the Amersham Youth Centre on the last Friday of each month.
To Be Active - 60+ Fitness and Social Club
Do you want to maximise your mobility and better your balance? If so, men and women of all abilities age 60+ are welcome to join our friendly social group each week to improve fitness. We have three wonderful instructors in Richard, Rita and Stella at the Chalfont St Giles 60+ Fitness and Social Club. Ukranian Community Hub
The Ukrainian Community Hub is open every Friday morning from 10am until 12:30pm. This takes place in St Mary's Church Rooms in Chesham HP5 1HY. Local Produce Market
The local produce market takes place in the Market Square in Chesham on the 4th Saturday of each month. The market is open from 10am until 2pm. By offering local produce it means fewer food miles and in turn this helps support the local economy. Just come down to the Market Square, Chesham on the 4th Saturday of the month.
Lunch Club at Little Chalfont
Little Chalfont has recently launched a new Lunch Club on the 4th Sunday of every month. This takes place from 12:30pm at The Kokum at 68 Elizabeth Avenue, Little Chafont, HP6 6QJ.
